Statement of Community Involvement
On 18 October 2006 we adopted our Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). It sets out how we will consult on all planning matters, including plan-making, planning applications and Conservation Areas.
The SCI is one of the documents that makes up the Aylesbury Vale Local Development Framework (AVLDF). The AVLDF willl ultimately replace the Aylesbury Vale Local Plan as the local planning policy context for the district.
An independent Inspector was appointed by the government to examine the 'soundness' of the SCI following its submission to the Secretary of State in February 2006. The Inspector reported to the Council in August, setting out binding recommendations for changes to be made to the submitted SCI before adoption. An Adoption Statement has been prepared that gives more information about the adoption of the SCI.
The adopted SCI, the Adoption Statement and the Inspector's Report are all available to download below.
