AVLDF local development scheme
The local development scheme (LDS) is a timetable for the local development framework (LDF), setting out how and when the different parts of the LDF will be produced, as well as what resources and background work will be required.
Our first LDS was approved by the government in March 2005. However, this was revised in 2007 to reflect changes to the LDF timetable, and to incorporate some additional LDF documents.
In response to changed government guidance, the 2007 LDS has now been reviewed. The guidance has made a number of changes to the process for preparing LDFs and means that we are required to reconsider the content of our core strategy document. We will therefore be allocating strategic sites in the core strategy, and allocating the rest of the sites in the district in a single allocated sites document.
