Checking whether work has been approved
Building work that has been carried out without building control approval is considered unauthorised. You can check whether work has been given building control approval by contacting us.
If you want the work to be approved we need to check it. This is called regularisation. A fee is payable for this. Once building work is up to standard a Regularisation Certificate will be issued. This can be kept with the deeds to your property should you ever wish to sell your house.
