Housing Debt Advice

If you are threatened with eviction, repossession having rent or mortgage arrears, or council tax arrears, our Housing Debt Advisers can be contacted to offer assistance and advice.

We can help complete court forms and represent you at possession and warrant court hearings. We can provide advice and options to try to prevent you from losing your home.

If you have a serious housing problem we can also negotiate with secondary creditors, such as money owed on credit cards, loans, utility companies, store cards and other debts. We offer practical advice on how to deal with your debts so you can take control of your finances.

We can check your benefit entitlement and look at ways to increase your income and reduce your expenditure to prevent homelessness.

If you would like to make a referral, contact the team on 01296 585168.
