Our internet service standards

Government guidelines for web take-up state that all councils must publish their internet service standards.

Service availability

We try to ensure that our website is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, however, there may be times when we have to do maintenance or have technical problems.

If our service is likely to be interrupted for any periods we will try to publish details of this in advance.

These standards relate to those parts of our website that we control. Some functions, such as payments and planning applications, operate through a secure network run by another provider so we are unable to guarantee their performance.
